Erica C. Lyme, MEd

Over the course of her career, Erica C. Lyme, MEd, a renowned neurofeedback trainer and tutor, has been guided by a desire and determination to help people find a more natural way of training their brains without the need for overmedication. Equipped with a Bachelor of Science in education and a Master of Education from Ohio State University, she served as a teacher and dyslexia tutor at Aspen Wellness Center from 2006 to 2014 and has been the owner and founder at Executive Function LLC since 2013. At Executive Function Learning Center, she provides holistic neurofeedback brain training services to enrich, calm, relax, and focus the lives of her clients, both adults and children alike, including students, athletes, and performing artists to business professionals and parents.

The services span neurofeedback and such specialized tutoring services as Orton-Gillingham, Barton Reading and Spelling System, and Lindamood-Bell Phoneme Sequencing, which are designed for students struggling with reading, writing, and spelling. Executive Function LLC also offers virtual tutoring for those with difficulty attending on-site appointments. It’s her hope that children can function more in the classroom without using medication. Also in charge of such business operations as marketing, bookkeeping, and its website, she considers her most notable achievement to be finding success with the company and expanding to two locations. In addition, she’s active as a contractor for a tutoring company that provides grants for children with Individualized Educational Plans.

Ms. Lyme maintains professional affiliation with the Business Networking International and the Chamber of Commerce. Looking ahead toward the future, she would like a retreat place where people could come and de-stress, especially in the aftermath of COVID-19, and is looking for remote brain training technology so people can utilize the services from their homes. Her motto is, “We all need to be a force for good.”
